Annual General Meeting & Call for Nominations

The Russell and District Girls Hockey Association (RDGHA) Coyotes Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on June 2nd at 6:00 PM in the upstairs hall of the Embrun Arena. Join the Board of Directors as they present a summary of the 2025-2026 hockey season.

During the AGM, we will also vote for the RDGHA Board of Directors positions. The RDGHA Board of Directors are seeking engaged and committed volunteers to help guide and manage girls’ hockey in our region for the following positions.

Vacant Positions:

• Director of Marketing
• Secretary
• Director of Risk & Safety
• Director of Player & Coach Development
• Webmaster

Position that we currently have a Director in place, but is up for renewal:

• Director of Competitive (Mike Buckingham)

In addition, at the last meeting, RDGHA President Jason Parsonage resigned. Véronique Bégin, Director on the Board, has been appointed as Interim President and will seek member approval at the AGM. New nominations for the President position will still be accepted for consideration. As recommended in the by-laws, the President should have served on the Board for at least one year prior to election.

Members present will then vote for these positions at the AGM.
